Healthy Children – Better World
The event was held on July 18, 2011 at the University of Florida in the College of Journalism and Communications and was attended by more than 60 middle and high school students from around the state of Florida. This year’s program was co-sponsored by the University of Florida Health Science Center and Shands Healthcare.

A look at diabetes was the theme of the 2011 Summer Journalism Visitation Program at the University of Florida. The free one-day journalism and multimedia workshop focused on children and young adults living with diabetes.
