It’s a hot summer night in Georgia, and Sam, a sophomore at the local high school, and his teammates walk up the steps to an empty house. Inside awaits the pressure to drink and give in to what his friends are doing, but Sam realizes that the potential choices he makes once inside can either make or break his future.
March Madness Heats Up

In a sports fan‘s mind, the month of March is as good as it gets. Incredible buzzer-beaters, unpredictable upsets, and earth-shaking slam dunks are seen all throughout March. However, you do not have to be a basketball fan or even a sports fan in order to enjoy one of the most celebrated events in sports.

Two things that many teens hold valuable in their lives are school and sports. Often, these two are intertwined, as athletes take to the playing field representing their school in a particular sport. Participation in sports is a great way to build school spirit, make new friends, and gain a sense of worth around the school. There are, however, a few problems to this otherwise great idea. Many student-athletes have a tough time in school and feel overwhelmed juggling their school workload as well as practices or any other activities in their lives.
